A V12 uses 12 cylinders, 2 rows of 6, a V10 uses 2 rows of 5 cylinders, and a V8 2 rows of 4 cylinders, in a V shape. These are not Lamborghini unique, as many manufacturers have these different engines. They are just different ways of making power.
