Why do americans wear Che Guevara tshirts?

Well, first of all, it's not all Americans - just the ignorant/uneducated ones. See, many American youths have the misconception that Che Guevara is a great symbol of freedom and being a rebel (which they think is "cool"). Most of them don't realize that he was also a m murderer.. yet another reason why America's public education system sucks.
