How to unfreeze my wow account?

I played the World of Warcraft trial, then later I upgraded and played for the 30 days it let me. I did not play after that for about a year. Now I am trying to get started again but my account is frozen. I havn't tried subscribing or puting a card on because I dont want to waste money. Will it unfreeze when I add a pre paid card to it.
