Popcorn hull inside of gums?

I got a popcorn hull rammed up INSIDE my gums (right above my right canine tooth, to be exact) days ago. I couldn't get it out. Now something that looks like the tip of the hull is protruding from my gums and I'm bleeding. Should I get it out, and if so, how? I tried tweezers but it hurt really badly and made me bleed more. Help!
