I am so sorry for your pain but it sounds like he doesn't want the marriage to work at all so for your sake you have to move on for you and your baby, i know it will be hard to do, you just have to take one day at a time. and you don't have to give him the child every time he wants to play at being a dad your being a good mom putting the child first so if he files for a divorce you know that he isn't coming back.and you can start to move on with your life it will get better in time the pain will get less and less and you will be able to start over and find someone who will love you like you deserve to be and they will love your baby also .and know one has the right to hit you ever, when a man hits a woman for any reason it is wrong and it will only get worse not better and he might even start to abuse the baby so you have to decide right now you and baby deserve so much better in life
