Should my friend ask this girl out or move on - girls only?

My friend got into a little pushing match with 2 girls this weekend that turned out pretty bad as they held him down and farted in his face....now normally I wouldn't think that would be horrendous...but...the girl of his dreams saw the whole thing and laughed hysterically at it!! I told him to chalk one up for the bad and move on...its over!! As mean as it sounds and even immature I told him flat out in total honestly that a girl doesn't want to date a guy that gets face farted by girls!! What is your thoughts on this?
